Quality - Design -Performance
By adopting "rim rolling technology" to produce its wheels, Function DS is able to balance the 3 principles of Quality, Design, and Performance at a whole new level. "Rim rolling technology" has been applied in the past to manufacture racing wheels used in Formula One and Indy cars. The heat, pressure, and spinning used in the fabrication process results in a strong rim area comparable to forged wheels. For the disk section, this technology allows for freedoms in design to achieve more luxurious looks never seen before in a sport wheel. Customized offsets can be ordered in 1mm increments allowing the fittings of upgraded brake calipers and larger rotors.
Through the "rim rolling technology" Function DS is able to provide a higher precision product (Quality), add luxurious styles usually seen in higher end dress up wheels (Design), while still maintaining the strength to withstand rigorous track and driving conditions (Performance).
